Diagnostics of the aspiration system
A set of measures and studies aimed at establishing the operating characteristics of the system, evaluating it for possible modernization, finding the causes of incorrect operation of aspiration systems and/or painting equipment in general, and providing recommendations for their elimination is called aspiration system diagnostics.
Diagnostics of the aspiration system from Aton Service includes:
- Inspection of equipment, photographic fixation of components (fans, filtering unit, air handling unit, spray booths, etc.) and their markings, making a sketch of the system.
- Inspection of filtering elements, measurements of diameters, lengths, types, condition (photo fixation).
- Drawing a sketch of the aspiration system, if there is no graphic representation of it.
- Measurements of the diameters and lengths of the central line and all branches, the geometry of the nozzles connected to the machine tool system and their number.
- Measurements of pressure, velocity and calculation of air flow in the main line and/or in the branches under investigation.
- Comparison of the obtained parameters with the calculated data.
- Checking the normal operation of individual components and units that make up the system.
- Checking the algorithm of operation and actuation of units according to the signals and commands of the automatic control system.
- Measurement of current loads on actuator motors.
- Measurement of vibration levels at the bearing units of the fan(s).
Conclusions on the system operation
- Compliance of the data obtained with the data stated in the technical documentation.
- Providing recommendations on possible changes to the system configuration and its modernization.
- Determination of the reasons for incorrect operation of the system, if any.
- Identification of system deficiencies, if any.
- Providing recommendations for improving system performance.
