It is used as a pre-cleaning filter in dry painting booths.
These filters are also called corrugated, cardboard or inertial. Due to the folding design of the filter, it can work almost until full saturation.
Designed for filtering paint, glue, varnish, polyesters, including water-soluble ones. The cleaning efficiency increases with saturation, unlike synthetic fabric filters, which lose their efficiency with increasing saturation. The principle of inertia is used to separate particles from the air: the air flow repeatedly changes its direction inside the filter. Inertial (labyrinth) filters are not covered with an impermeable crust, the service life of the filters is longer than many other types of filters. Unlike fiber filters, the efficiency of a corrugated (labyrinth) filter increases when filled with dust (paint particles) and can reach 98%.
