
The FS-AS4.Big-Bag filter unit is designed to clean the air from solid dust particles.
The capacity is 4,000 m³/h.
The unit can also be used in various industries with a large amount of solid particles in the polluted air.
It is assembled using modular panels, which provides a modular structure of the plant. The unit is made of steel with a thickness of 2 to 3 mm with subsequent powder coating.
Contaminated air containing particles of waste generated during production is transported to a chamber where heavier particles settle, after which the contaminated air enters the filtering unit where final purification takes place. The purified air is returned to the work area. Filtered particles are collected in a container or big bag, depending on the configuration.

The filtering unit can clean the air from particles as small as 0.3 microns.
As standard, it is equipped with an antistatic cartridge filter C2.1000.10.ANT
This filter is capable of capturing smaller dust fractions than bag filters and is designed to clean the air from fine dry particles that do not stick together with a size of 1.3 microns or more.
The degree of air purification is 100%, which makes it possible to return the purified air to the shop floor.
The filter media is cleaned by pulsed compressed air blasts controlled by an electronic economizer that optimizes the flow duration and feed intervals.
The FS-AS4.Big-Bag filter unit includes: filter compartment; sedimentation chamber; high suction power and high efficiency fan; dust cans for discharging dust; support legs; inlet for air flow containing dust and gases; outlet for filtered air; inspection door, inspection window, fire extinguisher (dry pipe fire extinguishing system).

The filtering unit FS-AS4.Big-Bag is manufactured in accordance with the standards established by the Quality Management System of Aton Service LLC in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015. It meets the requirements of DSTU EN 60204-l:2015, DSTU EN 61000-6-2:2015, DSTU EN 61000-6-4:2016.
The installation and operating instructions must be read and understood and must be followed by the person who installs, operates and maintains the unit.

- Do not use the filtering unit to filter air containing large and long fractions of sawdust, rags, metal objects or any other inclusions that may damage the fan, filters and the unit.
- Remove the filters and the dust box for maintenance or repair while the power is still on at the control panel.
- Carry out any interventions in the installation during its operation.

Application area: high capacity and medium pressure.
Blade type: backward curved.
Application: dust fan, suction and transportation of very dirty air, containing granular materials, sawdust and shavings, excluding fibrous materials.
Air temperature: up to 60°C for the standard version, for higher temperatures a special version of the fan is required.
Construction specification: stable sheet metal construction. The fan is coated with powder paint baked at 200°C with an average coating thickness of 70 microns, the impeller is coated with an epoxy primer.
The fan is statically and dynamically balanced.
The impeller and motor are made in Italy and comply with EU quality standards.
Cartridge filter

The C2.1000.10.ANT cartridge filter is capable of capturing finer dust fractions than bag filters and is designed to clean the air from fine dry particles that do not stick together. The filters are regenerated with compressed air in automatic mode. The filters are made in Italy and comply with EU quality standards.
The material is antistatic polyester, the density of the material is 260 g/m2.
Purification efficiency is 100% for particles larger than 5 microns.

A filter should not let anything through – this is a statement we hear very often. Many people think that a filter retains 100% of the dust. In principle, a filter is a separation device; this means that it separates the proposed material to be filtered. The separated product is returned back to the production process or to residual disposal. The particles contained in the exhaust air are called residual dust. The residual dust is indicated in mg/m³.

The standard applies to high-efficiency and very high-efficiency ultra-low-penetration air filters used in ventilation and air conditioning applications as well as in process applications such as cleanroom technology or the pharmaceutical industry. It establishes a procedure for determining efficiency based on a method that counts particles using a test liquid aerosol (or alternatively, a solid aerosol) and can classify these filters in a normalized way depending on their efficiency.

In certain places, dust friction can lead to the accumulation of electrostatic charges with the risk of sparking. Therefore, in the presence of flammable or explosive dust, antistatic filter elements must be used to allow the charges to be transferred along the filter bags and pockets.
The electrical resistivity of the filter media of an antistatic cartridge filter, as measured according to DIN 54345, section 5, is < 106 ohm/m2.
Filter cleaning system

Cleaning the cartridge filters with compressed air allows the filters to be used for a long time without losing suction efficiency. Each filter is equipped with an individual compressed air supply valve, which allows for high-quality regeneration of each filter. The pulse valves are explosion-proof, made in Italy, comply with EU quality standards, and are ATEX certified, category 22.
The filter cartridges are cleaned by a counterflow of compressed air. A stream of high-pressure compressed air blows through the filter cartridge in the opposite direction to the contaminated air flow.
In order to optimize the compressed air consumption, a special device is installed that regulates the duration of the flow and the intervals between filter cleaning cycles.
Dry, clean compressed air must be used to operate the filter cleaning system. The air must comply with class 2 according to ISO 8573-1.
The working pressure is 0.5-0.7 MPa.
The compressed air can be connected to the system using a quick-release connector for pneumatic products G 3/8 inch (female).
Control panel
It is intended for switching on and off all systems and motors involved in the installation, as well as for electrical protection of the motors (current, phase reversal). The control panel allows you to turn on and off the fan according to a given algorithm, control the cleaning system, the cleaning cycle is provided by the economizer, which automatically controls the solenoid valve, cleaning one filter at a time. If the control panel includes the ESU 5.5 energy saving unit, then the control algorithm allows you to smoothly adjust the fan speed depending on the required power (number of connected machines, signal from the pressure sensor). This saves electrical power. The amount of savings can reach about 70-80%, in the case of a machine park utilization rate of about 10-20%. The control panel is equipped with a quick connection connector, which allows you to connect the installation without special education.
