2025. Aton Service developed and installed centralized aspiration systems for Storozhuk LLC, one of Ukraine’s leading metalworking companies. These systems significantly improved working conditions in the laser cutting and metal grinding areas by effectively removing metal dust, fumes, and vapors while maintaining clean air in the production facility.
In Storozhuk LLC’s new production workshop, the lack of aspiration caused metal dust to accumulate in the air and chips to settle on the floor. This created additional health risks for employees and violated sanitary standards. The laser cutting area was particularly challenging due to the high intensity of dust and smoke.
To address these issues, Storozhuk LLC turned to Aton Service’s specialists, who conducted a thorough analysis of the production processes and developed two customized centralized aspiration projects. Each project was based on FS-AS series filter units, which ensure the purification system’s high performance and reliability.
The first system is equipped with an FS-AS-16 filter unit that can handle up to 16,000 m³/h. It is integrated with an aerodynamically designed network of air ducts that minimizes pressure loss. This system serves the sheet metal laser cutting area, which contains high-precision CNC machines. It removes all dust, smoke, and gas contaminants generated during the cutting process. After filtration, the purified air is returned to the work area to ensure a clean and safe microclimate.
The second system is based on an FS-AS 12 unit with cartridge filters and an automatic compressed air cleaning system with a capacity of 12,000 m³/h. It is designed to serve the metal workpiece grinding area, where intense dust generation is a constant problem. The EST grinding tables integrated into the extraction system have special designs that allow for effective dust extraction directly at the workplace.
Aton Service engineers performed a wide variety of tasks, including designing and manufacturing air ducts, installing filtration units, connecting systems to the power grid and pneumatic system, and commissioning and testing equipment. Particular attention was paid to ensuring the systems operated smoothly and were as energy efficient as possible.
Introducing aspiration systems significantly improved air quality in the workshop, reduced health risks for employees, and ensured compliance with European quality and safety standards.
